Body Transformation
Alberto’s transformation..
As a personal trainer and nutrition coach, I'm usually in good
shape. With all the knowledge and experience I have, you'd
think it would be almost effortless for me to maintain my
health. For the most part, it was. And then there was Covid19.
I completely derailed. My business came to an abrupt halt, and
I was continuously worried about the well being of my family
& friends. Like most people, I barely left the house, and I don't
know about you, but it was torturous for me.
I started eating as if the world was going to end. Chocolate
covered devil dogs became a staple in my diet. Ice cream and
bakery treats became common night time snacks. Needless to
say, I gained a lot of weight and my body composition went
from predominately lean, to having the highest body fat
percentage I've ever had.
Never would I had thought that I'd become my own client. I
had to re-discipline myself and break all the bad habits I
created. It was the first time in my life that I struggled with my
eating habits and exercise consistency.
My story shows that we're all vulnerable to bad habits. No
matter what your objective/goal is, the key to achieving it is
discipline. Disassembling bad habits and replacing them with
healthier options. It's a process. It doesn’t happen over night.
